Audit & Risk Professionals LLp, is a partnership between Lesley and Ian Cooley.

Lesley and Ian have over 60 years internal audit and process improvement experience between them with a range of organisations. Both are members of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Lesley really enjoys looking at processes and identifying ways to make improvements, in a cost effective way.

Lesley also has the respected Institute of Risk Management qualification, is a qualified data protection officer and an Institute of Leadership and Management qualified coach and mentor.

Lesley is also a certified Information Security Management System auditor.

Lesley is inquisitive (that’s the polite version of nosey) and likes to delve into how things work and what they are trying to achieve. She thinks that all processes should be robust and working for the organisation, otherwise why bother having them in place. She believes that good processes benefit both the organisation and their clients and customers.

Lesley believes that there are simple processes to make organisations more effective and responsive to the needs of those they serve, although frequently organisations fail to appreciate these simple tasks.
